- I schedule three times a year—in mid-November, I book January through April of the following year. In mid-March, I book for May through August. In mid-July, I book for September through December. During my booking period, I have a booking form posted to my Facebook and Instagram feeds and bios. YOU MUST FILL OUT A FORM. This gives me more time to focus on my clients with upcoming appointments, rather than scheduling and responding to email more frequently throughout the year.
- Paypal, Venmo, and cash.
Paypal: kaileeviator@gmail.com (please send as friends and family)
Venmo: Kailee-Viator (do not send as goods and purchases)
- All consultations are done through your booking form, and by email (kaileeviator@gmail.com). If I think an in-person conversation is necessary for your tattoo, I will request it.
- I do require a $100 non-refundable deposit due at the time of scheduling your appointment. Please have it ready to be paid through Paypal or Venmo when submitting your booking form. *DO NOT SEND THE DEPOSIT PRIOR TO MY APPROVAL OF YOUR IDEA! * I may not be the best artist for your design, and I may not have the appropriate day/time for you. Your deposit reserves your appointment, and goes toward the cost of designing your tattoo. If the tattoo you request is simple one, part or all of your deposit may go toward the final cost, at my discretion. If you fail to show up to your appointment, your deposit will be forfeited.
- I require clients to reschedule within a minimum of 48 hours prior to their scheduled appointment. If you are unable to notify me in that time frame, your deposit is forfeited and you will need to pay another one to schedule with me again.
- Beginning in 2025, my hourly rate is $175/hr. For large-scale projects (arm/leg sleeves, backpieces, etc), I charge $150/hr. Your answer to the 'budget' question on my booking form is very helpful. My minimum for ANY tattoo is $175. This ensures my time and supplies are covered
- I work mostly Tuesday through Friday, with the occasional Saturday.
Tuesdays: 11:00 - 7:00 Wednesdays: 11:00 - 5:00 Thursdays: 11:00 - 5:00 Fridays: 11:00 - 7:00 Saturdays (extremely limited): 11:00 – 5:00
- I only work one Saturday a month, and they are reserved for projects which require four or more hours of work.
- THINGS I WOULD LIKE TO TATTOO: Ideas relevant to the style I am trying to cultivate will be given first priority. I will still be taking on other tattoos, but designs involving botanical illustration, birds, insects, ordinary objects overtaken by nature, moss, mushrooms, mythical creatures, medical illustration, dissections, animals eating other animals, animals wearing clothes, witchy things, religious art, eggs/shells, musical instruments, family heirlooms... These are few of the things that interest me! Let's get weird and whimsical.
- I do not send drawings to clients prior to the appointment. You will see your design when you come in, if any changes need to be made, we can do so then. If you are wanting to completely change your design, I require a minimum of one week's notice.
- I do not correspond via my phone number with clients. This is a boundary I try to maintain. If you need to contact me, I prefer my email so that all information regarding your tattoo is one place, but will also respond via Facebook Messenger for more immediate concerns.
- There are mixed opinions on this among the tattoo community. I will start by saying—it is not my preference. Numbing cream changes the texture of the skin, and can increase the chances of scarring, and increases redness/inflammation. Sometimes this means I can only tattoo that area for so long before swelling becomes excessive. It can also wear off quickly, which will put the client in the middle of the pain rather than being worked up to it if they hadn’t used it in the first place. Not to mention, sometimes it simply does not work at all.
With that said, I have some clients that simply cannot sit for a tattoo without it. Please use numbing agents at your own risk. If you do decide to, I will only work on clients who have used Ebanel Numb 520. Apply the cream thickly to the area and wrap with saran wrap an hour or two before the appointment. I do not supply numbing agents for you.
